Transit Vehicle Interior

Cycling Motherships’ crew support volume requirements and layout configurations were conceptualized based on two spacecraft references: a SpaxeX Starship and a NASA Space Launch System vehicle with a current plan and a proposed payload shroud enlargement. 

Based upon these options in common with estimated maximum Mars return-to-orbit vehicle capacity, the team set a crew delivery and rotation number of eight members under weightless conditions with essential consumable provisions and life support accommodations for 9-month-long outbound and Earth return transits.
