The Marsquito, a remote-controlled electricity-powered helicopter, provides cameras, geological sensors, and sample return capabilities.

The drone functions as an extended sensory organ for surface missions – scouting ahead, mapping hazards, identifying scientifically valuable sites, and performing rapid, high-resolution surveys before human or robotic deployments.

The drone hangar is landed and offloaded with the Marquito inside, incorporating photovoltaic cells in its hinged containment peals to recharge the helicopter’s batteries.
