Integrated Tunnel and Power Connections

The Core Module serves as the central connection and power distribution node for other modules that will follow in addition to recharging an attached SERTOV.

This central module provides one extendable transfer tunnel for crew and cargo transfers to SERTOV, and five hatches for permanent tunnel connections to other modules.

Permanently extended power poles distribute electricity between modules and between modules and berthed SERTOVs while additionally serving as structural guiding “curtain rods”. 

Whereas pressurized transfer tunnels between modules remain permanently connected, those connecting with SERTOVs withdraw upon departures made possible by retraction cables.
